Corn Exchange Crickhowell Ltd was set up to allow people who love Crickhowell to invest in the project to buy and convert the former Corn Exchange Pub.
It is now run by two Directors and a non-executive Chair, who represents the views of the 271 shareholders. They are:
Dean Christy (Managing Director), a former senior executive in the City of London, who now lives near Crickhowell and runs a number of property businesses.
Peter Roberts (Finance Director), a senior accountant who lives in Crickhowell.
David Thomas (Non-Executive Chair), a retired businessman who lives near Crickhowell and is involved in a number of projects, including the town’s Walking Festivals.
They are assisted with communications by Tim Jones, who runs a digital content agency in Crickhowell. He managed the communications and PR during the campaign to stop a supermarket, the redevelopment and letting of The Corn Exchange, and Crickhowell’s successful bid to win the title of the UK’s “Best High Street”.
